The Reporter likes to find new places to have coffee and hang out, particularly nice, cosy, warm places with wifi. We first thought that the wifi here was free, but it turned out to be free only for 20 minutes. But notwithstanding this, this place was so nice that The Reporter stayed all afternoon.
Following two hearty helpings of salad – bulgar wheat and a chicken waldorf – even The Reporter had to leave it a little while before trying out the cakes…… The Pecan and Maple syrup traybake was gorgeous – just that there was enough for two! So if you are going then we recommend that you take a friend with you.
Lovely piping hot Americano and a delightful array of different cold drinks. The pomegranate juice was really tasty.
The location on Pearse Street is just off the city centre, but easy to get to with a bike or on the bus. The inside is very spacious and comfortable, with high stools at the window where you can sit very happily with your computer, or sofas which you can lounge on and read the newspapers provided. Very reminiscent of California, so no surprise to find that KC Peaches is owned by an American.
The Dublin Reporter Verdict on KC Peaches 8/10
